UNICEF, the United Nations agency for children, works to protect the rights of every child, especially the most disadvantaged and those hardest to reach. Across more than 190 countries and territories, they do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfil their potential. The world’s largest provider of vaccines, UNICEF also runs the world’s largest humanitarian warehouse.
Celebrating World Immunization Week, UNICEF partnered with The Guardian US and Guardian Labs to raise awareness of the work being done around the world with vaccines. The original piece pitched was highlighting worked done throughout the years and around the world with a timeline and milestones achieved by UNICEF. The project then shifted to showcasing incredible work done by amazing people around the world with vaccines and broader care.
